Bhubaneswar, Oct. 9 -- The opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Friday accused the BJP-led Odisha government of using administrative machinery to influence college students' union elections in favour of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and demanded an immediate end to government interference in campus politics.

The paty also alleged that democratic rights of students were being undermined through political interference, selective cancellation of polls and intimidation.
