Bhubaneswar, May 23 -- BioBlitz 2026 was successfully conducted at Nandankanan Wildlife Sanctuary, covering the areas of Nandankanan Zoological Park and the State Botanical Garden on the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity.
A BioBlitz is an intensive biological survey conducted within a fixed time period where scientists, students, nature enthusiasts, photographers, and volunteers work together to record as many species of flora and fauna as possible within a designated area.
