Patna, Sept. 13 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday announced that 100 professors from the state would be selected and sent to Oxford and other reputed institutions abroad for training as part of efforts to improve the quality of higher education and strengthen teachers' capabilities.
Addressing an orientation programme for 2,451 newly appointed assistant professors in 211 newly established degree colleges at Bapu Sabhagar here, Choudhary said capacity building of teachers and other professionals associated with the education sector was essential for improving the quality of education.
