Patna, July 21 -- Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari on Tuesday announced in the state assembly the state government will complete the student-teacher rationalisation process in all primary, middle and secondary schools during the current academic session to improve the quality of education.

Replying to a Calling Attention of MLAs Ruhel Ranjan, Manjarik Mrinal and others during the Monsoon Session of the Bihar Assembly, Tiwari said the exercise is being undertaken in line with the National Education Policy (NEP), which prescribes a student-teacher ratio (PTR) of 40:1.
