Patna, June 15 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday laid the foundation stone for an Integrated Aqua Park to be developed at the Vanasur Fish Seed Farm in Nawadaben Panchayat of Udawantnagar block in Bhojpur district at an estimated cost of Rs 31.21 crore.
Addressing the gathering, Choudhary said the project represents an important step towards realizing the vision of a developed India championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a prosperous Bihar envisioned by former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
He noted that agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries form the backbone of Bihar's economy and that the state possesses immense potential for further growth in fish production.
