Biharsharif, July 27 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary Monday announced that the state government has set a target of producing 1 crore litres of milk per day.
To achieve this, the government will provide dairy farmers with modern technology, advanced training, improved cattle breeds, better animal healthcare, and stronger dairy infrastructure.
During his visit to the Biharsharif Dairy Project in Nalanda, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a 20-metric-tonne-per-day curd and lassi processing plant, a COMFED-operated HPCL petrol pump, and a Sudha Cafeteria.
