Patna, Jan. 7 -- Bihar Planning and Development Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav on Wednesday said that 71.40 per cent of the total funds under the Chief Minister Area Development Scheme have been spent on local development works recommended by MLAs and MLCs.
Yadav told news persons here that the expenditure is related to the development works recommended by members of the 17th Bihar Legislative Assembly, which ended on November 25 last year, and members of the Bihar Legislative Council during the period 2021-22 to 2025-26. He added that around 20 per cent of the approved projects are still in various stages of its implementation.
