Patna, March 7 -- Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar on Saturday suggested developing green belts along entry points of Patna district as well as other major entry routes across the state to improve the environmental appeal of Bihar.

During a high level meeting on environmental issues here, Kumar said green belts at the entry points would offer visitors a positive glimpse of a green Bihar while entering the state and its capital Patna.

Several environmental issues were discussed during the meeting, including the proposed establishment of a zoo in Gaya district.
