Patna, June 18 -- : Reiterating the state government's commitment to the bright future and socio-economic empowerment of sportspersons, Bihar Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh said providing a clear and improved pathway to government employment for athletes excelling in sports had remained one of the government's key priorities.
She said here that the Outstanding Sportspersons Direct Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2026 would provide deserving athletes with dignified employment opportunities as per their sporting achievements.
