Lucknow, Nov. 15 -- Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has once again suffered a setback in Bihar. The BSP won only one seat. It contested 192 seats. The rout has forced the party to review its strategy.
In a close contest between BSP's Satish Kumar Singh Yadav and BJP's Ashok Kumar Singh in the Ramgarh Assembly constituency in Bihar, the BSP candidate won by just 30 votes. Satish Yadav received 72,689 votes, while the BJP candidate received 72,659.
