Bihar ranks 2nd in crime rate in country: Supriya Shrinate
Patna, July 12 -- Congress Spokesperson Supriya Shrinate today strongly condemned the worsening law and order situation in Bihar, claiming that the state ranks second highest in the crime rate in the country.
She told news persons here that criminals no longer fear the law, while honest citizens, especially businessmen, were living under constant threat.
Ms Shrinate alleged that the crime in Bihar was rising, and the entire country was shaken by the murders taking place in the state, where women, children, and even traders were not safe.
The Congress leader said that under the prevailing scenario, no investor would show interest in the state, where traders were being shot dead in full public view.
