Patna, June 16 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary today said that the state government is fully prepared for the upcoming monsoon season, with adequate flood-control materials stockpiled and anti-erosion works being carried out across vulnerable areas.
During the public grievance hearing programme at the state office of Janata Dal (United), Choudhary told news persons here that the government has taken all necessary measures to tackle potential flood situations before the onset of heavy rains.
The Deputy Chief Minister, along with Energy Minister Shailesh Kumar alias Bulo Mandal, heard public grievances and directed concerned officials to ensure timely disposal of applications received during the programme.
