Patna, Nov. 6 -- Bhagwanpur village, a sleeping hamlet of Vaishali district, caught a unique glimpse on election morning when a voter, Kedar Yadav, arrived at his polling booth riding a buffalo to participate in the democratic exercise.

As voting began across 18 districts of Bihar, a scene from Bhagwanpur village captured the spirit of the day.
