Gaya, Oct. 20 -- The younger son of a police sub-inspector posted in Motihari was shot dead, while his elder son sustained critical injuries in a firing incident in Bihar's Gaya district during the Durga Puja festivities.
Police said here Tuesday that the deceased has been identified as Ranu Singh (30), while Monu Singh (32), was seriously injured in the incident near Siddharthpuri locality, close to Nouranga Ahar, under Muffasil police station area.
The injured was admitted to Magadh Medical Hospital, where his condition remains critical.
