Patna, July 17 -- In a major step towards strengthening Bihar's care economy and improving services for women and children, the Social Welfare Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday with Vedanta Limited and Zerodha Broking Limited to develop and modernise 1,050 Anganwadi Centres across the state.
State Social Welfare Minister Shweta Gupta said here that under the partnership, Vedanta Limited will develop 1,000 Anganwadi Centres as modern Nandghars, while Zerodha Broking Limited will upgrade 50 Anganwadi Centres in Darbhanga district.
