Patna, June 14 -- Bihar Higher Education Minister Sanjay Singh, popularly known as Tiger, on Sunday discussed in detail the on ongoing reforms, innovations and future plans aimed at strengthening the higher education sector in the state with the union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Singh called on Pradhan in New Delhi during the day and apprised him of various initiatives being undertaken by the Bihar government to expand access to higher education and improve academic quality across the state.
He informed Pradhan that the state government is establishing 211 block-level degree colleges to ensure better access to higher education for students at the local level.
