Patna, Apr 2 ( UNI) The Bihar government has decided to provide Z category security cover to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after he steps down from office and assume his new role as a member of the Rajya Sabha.According to an order issued by the Special Branch of the Home Department, Kumar will continue to receive the highest level of VIP security even after resigning as Chief Minister. The decision follows a comprehensive review of his security arrangements in light of his transition to Parliament.The official communication stated that as a sitting Chief Minister, Kumar is entitled to top-tier protection security cover under the Bihar Special Security Act, 2000.
