Patna, Aug. 13 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has announced that financial assistance would be provided to the family of deceased social activist Bharat Bhushan Tiwari based on the findings of the interim report submitted by the judicial inquiry committee.
A retired judge Vinod Kumar Sinha is conducting the inquiry into the alleged police encounter of Tiwari, who was killed in Bhojpur district on June 17. The committee headed by Justice Sinha was constituted by the government to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident that took place in Bilauti village under Shahpur police station area.
