Patna, June 20 -- Bihar has generated 63,115 employment opportunities between November 2025 and May 2026 and is undertaking a major restructuring of its skill development programmes to equip youth for emerging industries and future job markets.

According to the Development Commissioner Mihir Kumar Singh the state government was making significant strides towards achieving its goal of "double employment and double income."He informed that while 63,115 employment opportunities had been created through various departmental programmes, another 68,822 youths had received job opportunities through the Bihar Rozgar Setu portal.
