Patna, June 10 -- Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly and national working president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, on Wednesday, alleged that Bihar is passing through a severe financial crisis and accused the state government of diverting public attention from pressing economic and governance issues.
Yadav expressed concern over the state cabinet's decision to approve the withdrawal of Rs 3,662 crore from the Bihar Contingency Fund for payment of social security pensions for May, June, and July 2026. He said the move raises serious questions about the financial health of the state government.
