Patna, Nov. 14 -- As counting of votes in the Bihar Assembly elections progresses, initial trends at 9 am indicate the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading on seven seats.

The Janata Dal (United) JD(U) is ahead on three seats, while the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) are leading on two seats each.

The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) [LJP(RV)] is also ahead on two seats. Trends have emerged for a total of 16 seats so far.
