Patna, Aug. 17 -- Expressing deep grief over the deaths of devotees in the stampede at Ashok Dham in Lakhisarai Monday morning, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary directed the officials concerned to ensure proper and prompt treatment of those injured in the incident.
Conveying his condolences to the bereaved families, Choudhary described the incident as "extremely tragic and heart-wrenching" and said the news of the deaths had left him deeply distressed.
