Patna, May 7 -- The Samrat Choudhary-led Bihar government today allocated portfolios among newly inducted ministers, with first-time minister Nishant Kumar, son of former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, being given the crucial Health Department.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has retained key departments including General Administration, Home, Cabinet Secretariat, Vigilance, Election and Civil Aviation, besides departments not allocated to any other minister.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary has been entrusted with Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs, while another Deputy Chief Minister Bijendra Yadav will head the Finance and Commercial Taxes departments....
