Patna, May 29 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today directed the Agriculture Department and the Disaster Management Department to conduct a detailed survey of crop losses caused by sudden storms, heavy rain and hailstorm in several districts of the state.
Choudhary said reports of damage to standing crops and fruits on trees had been received from different parts of Bihar due to the adverse weather conditions. He said the state government was committed to providing all possible assistance to affected farmers.
