Patna, Sept. 7 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today laid the foundation stone and inaugurated nine development projects worth Rs 558.35 crore in Siwan district.
Kumar initiated projects including construction of a 220/132/33 KV grid substation at Mairwa and associated line bays costing Rs 222.01 crore, widening of Pachrukhi Bypass from Mohammadpur Mor (NH-531) to Chhapia-Tedhi Ghat-Gopalpur (NH-227) road costing Rs 120.48 crore and construction of a rail overbridge on State Highway 89 (Babunia-Siswan Road) at level crossing No. 91 SPL between Siwan railway station and Pachrukhi railway station, costing Rs 92.16 crore.
