Patna, Aug. 27 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary Thursday launched construction of a G 6 science block and an auditorium at Magadh Mahila College here, aimed at strengthening academic infrastructure and providing modern facilities to girl students.
Interacting with students after performing the foundation ceremony, Choudhary said, "Women's advancement is Bihar's progress" and asserted that providing quality education, modern facilities and adequate opportunities to the state's daughters was a priority of his government.
The new science block would create a modern academic environment for students pursuing science and help them prepare for higher education, research and employment opportunities, he said.
