Patna, July 25 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Saturday flagged off electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme along with a new fleet of deluxe buses of the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC).
During a function, the first electric bus was inaugurated from the 400 electric buses sanctioned for Bihar under the Government of India''s PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme.
The approved fleet comprises 200 buses in the 12-metre category and 200 buses in the 9-metre category.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a new fleet of BSRTC deluxe buses.
Of the 149 deluxe buses procured by the corporation 75 air-conditioned and 74 non-air-conditioned buses 3 AC and 73 non-AC buses were flagged off for operation.
