Patna, May 21 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today distributed insurance cheques worth Rs 37.50 crore to the families of 61 deceased police personnel under a special welfare initiative.
The Chief Minister participated in the Bank of Baroda Bihar Police Salary Package Deceased Personnel Insurance Benefit Distribution Programme held at the Bihar Police Headquarters, Sardar Patel Bhawan on Nehru Path, where he handed over symbolic cheques to the beneficiaries.
