Patna, Aug. 1 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Saturday directed officials to ensure smooth and uninterrupted traffic movement on Nehru Path (Bailey Road) during the construction of the Patna Metro by undertaking road widening and other necessary improvement works wherever required.
Chairing a review meeting of the Road Construction Department's ongoing works and key infrastructure projects, the Chief Minister instructed all concerned departments and agencies to work in close coordination to minimise inconvenience to commuters during the metro construction.
Officials informed the meeting that 11 stretches along Nehru Path have been identified for traffic improvement measures.
