Patna, Aug. 23 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday announced that a Matika Art Board would be constituted in the state within three months to promote and preserve traditional pottery and clay art and safeguard the interests of artisans associated with the craft.
Addressing a function organised by the Bihar Kumhar (Prajapati) Coordination Committee to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Amar Shaheed Ramchandra Vidyarthi, Choudhary said the board would work in a planned manner for the welfare of the Kumhar (Prajapati) community and artisans associated with clay art.
