Patna, Aug. 1 -- Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar has congratulated India's javelin throw medal winners for their outstanding performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
Kumar described India's achievement in the men's javelin throw event as a historic and proud moment in the nation''s sporting history.
He said the country's remarkable success on the global stage reflects the dedication, talent, and determination of its athletes.
He lauded star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra for winning the silver medal with his season-best throw of 85.83 metres.
He also praised young athlete Yashveer Singh, who secured the bronze medal with a personal-best throw of 85.41 metres on his final attempt.
