Patna, Feb. 19 -- The Bihar Assembly today passed the budgetary demands of Rs 60204.60 crores with a voice vote for the education department for the Financial Year 2026-27 amid a walkout by the RJD.

Replying to the debate on the budgetary demands for the education department, minister Sunil Kumar focused on the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) and outlined the government's strategy for incorporating it in education. He said that the coming era will be driven by artificial intelligence (AI), and the state government has already taken steps to prepare students for this transition.
