Patna, July 24 -- The Bihar Assembly was adjourned within minutes of convening and without taking up the enlisted businesses on Friday following uproar over the recent violence and lathi charge on students during a protest in Patna.
As the house assembled for the day, senior RJD member Alok Mehta raised the issue, saying that the students were lathi-charged during their protest. He accused the government of using force on the students. Dubbing the government as anti-students, he alleged that the government from Bihar to Delhi was acting against students.
