Darbhanga, May 14 -- : Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today reiterated his government's ambitious goal to expand air connectivity in the state tenfold over the next five years, stating that efforts are underway to enable 4 to 5 crore people from Bihar to travel by air during this period.

Addressing a function at Darbhanga airport, the Chief Minister said that the number of air travellers from Bihar has grown significantly from around 2.5 lakh annually in 2005-06 to over 50 lakh at present and the government is now working to accelerate this growth further.
