Patna, June 30 -- The Bihar government has significantly accelerated land acquisition for major infrastructure and development projects, with the Revenue and Land Reforms Department acquiring more than 45,748 acres across the state.

According to official sources, the land has been acquired at an estimated cost of nearly Rs 30,000 crore to facilitate several key projects being implemented by the Central and State governments.

Sources said land acquisition has been carried out in 24 districts for projects under the Industries Department.
