Chhapra, Aug. 5 -- At least two people were killed in separate accidents in Saran district on Wednesday.
According to police, an unidentified man was run over by a train and a woman succumbed to injuries sustained in a road accident.
Giving details the police said that an unidentified man was found dead on the railway tracks between Daudpur and Kopa stations on the Chhapra-Siwan section of the Northeast Railway. The body was spotted near the Banwar railway crossing, east of Daudpur station, by local residents.
The body was sent to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police are trying to establish the identity of the deceased.
