Patna, Oct. 2 -- The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Thursday announced to continue its "Save Democracy" campaign until res8gnation of the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
The party made the announcement during a programme organised on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in Gandhi Maidan, Patna. The RJD said it would conduct a nationwide agitation from October 2 to 8 over its demand.
RJD state spokesperson Ejaz Ahmad said the agitation would continue until the Chief Election Commissioner steps down. He said that on October 6, MPs from both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, along with leaders and workers of the INDIA bloc, would march to the Election Commission office in New Delhi.
