Patna, June 8 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) spokesperson Ejaz Ahmad on Sunday strongly criticised the recent increase in domestic LPG prices, alleging that the Central government has burdened poor households, women and ordinary citizens with rising living costs.
Reacting to the Rs 29 increase in domestic cooking gas prices, Ahmad said here that the hike follows a previous spike of Rs 60 announced on March 7. He alleged that petrol, diesel and LPG prices have been rising steadily after the conclusion of elections in five states.
