Patna, May 17 -- BJP leader and Member of Parliament from Nawada Vivek Thakur on Sunday urged Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary to name the proposed Bihta Airport after Swami Sahajanand Saraswati, a prominent peasant leader and freedom fighter.
Speaking after meeting the Chief Minister here, Thakur said the proposal aims to honour the legacy of Swami Sahajanand, widely regarded as a pioneer of the farmers' movement in India. He said naming key infrastructure after such great personalities would inspire future generations and strengthen public awareness about their contributions.
