Bhubaneswar, Aug. 30 -- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today said the Bhubaneswar Declaration 2025, adopted at the two-day National Conference of Chairpersons of the Committees on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of Parliament and State/Union Territory Assemblies, will serve as a common agenda for both the Centre and the states.
He said the proposals adopted at the conference will act as a guiding framework for Parliament and State Assemblies, helping to accelerate welfare measures for Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).
Addressing the media after the conclusion of the conference here, Birla said, "The roadmap for the development of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will begin from Bhubaneswar."The Speak...
