Varanasi, June 16 -- A team at the Center for Genetic Disorders at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has successfully enrolled over 300 patients with rare genetic disorders from Varanasi and surrounding districts under the "Mission Program on Pediatric Rare Disorders."The study, led by Professor Parimal Das, conducted under this research, has identified 47 rare disorders. Most of the identified rare diseases are neurological disorders, with neuromuscular, ophthalmic, skeletal, and cardiac disorders also included.
