Hyderabad, July 7 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy for approving the allocation of the Tadicherla-2 coal block to the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), describing it as a major boost to the company's long-term growth.
In a statement, Bhatti said the allocation was the result of the State government's sustained efforts over the past two years. He recalled that he had repeatedly urged the union Coal Ministry since March 2024 for the allotment of the block, while Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had also taken up the issue with the Prime Minister.
