Kozhikode, Jan. 3 -- The pro-RSS Bharatiya Vichara Kendram on Saturday called upon the union Government to enact a comprehensive and contemporary Central law to ensure transparent, autonomous and just administration of temples across the country.
The demand was raised through a detailed resolution adopted at the organisation's three-day 43rd Annual Conference, which began here on January 2.
The resolution expressed grave concern over reports continuing to surface in connection with alleged gold smuggling linked to the Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple, describing the developments as deeply disturbing.
