Hyderabad, June 10 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday said the State Government was laying the foundation for a world-class "Bharat Future City" that would emerge as a pollution-free global metropolis and play a key role in achieving a one-trillion-dollar economy for Telangana by 2034.

Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating the Future City Development Authority (FCDA) office building in Bharat Future City, the Chief Minister said Hyderabad has a rich history of growth and transformation and recalled how earlier visionary projects such as HITEC City, the Outer Ring Road, the International Airport and Genome Valley had transformed the city despite facing severe opposition at the time.
