New Delhi, Nov. 1 -- Reacting to Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bharadwaj's statement over the STPs, Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Friday said that the AAP leader seems to have forgotten that if there are any deficiencies in these 37 STPs, they were because of the previous Arvind Kejriwal government which was there for ten years.

The Delhi BJP spokesperson further stated that Bharadwaj should first respond to the Centre for Science and Environment report which has recently come out, and points out that the previous Kejriwal government in the national capital failed to clean the Yamuna despite spending Rs 6,856 crore between 2015 and 2022, and allowing 37 Sewage Treatment Plants to fail, he alleged.
