Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 5 -- The State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC) has cautioned the public against the growing menace of fake loan applications and mule account frauds, saying several people in Kerala, including students, have fallen victim to such cyber scams.
Speaking at the monthly Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC) meeting held at Canara Bank here under the aegis of the Press Information Bureau, SLBC Convenor and Canara Bank General Manager Santhosh V.S said the committee is conducting an extensive awareness campaign across colleges to educate students and the public about fraudulent financial activities.
