Chennai, April 2 -- Equating both the ruling DMK and the BJP as same and not different, film star-turned politician and Tamila Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder-President Vijay on Thursday warned the electorate against voting for them in the April 23 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
"The DMK and the BJP are in no way different, they are one and the same. Beware of voting for them since they are cheating the minorities", Vijay said, in his campaign address soon after filing his nomination from the Trichy East constituency, the second seat from which he has entered the fray in his maiden electoral plunge. He had earlier filied his papers from the Perambur seat in Chennai city on March 30, the opening day of filing of nominations.
