Chandigarh, July 7 -- Thousands of residents across Haryana can expect better roads, stronger electricity infrastructure and improved sewerage facilities after the state government approved a massive Rs 340.84-crore package of development and procurement projects aimed at upgrading essential public infrastructure.
The approvals were cleared during meetings of the High Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC) and the High Powered Works Purchase Committee (HPWPC) chaired by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. The decisions are expected to accelerate several long-pending civic projects while ensuring better value for public money.
