Mumbai, June 4 -- A Bombay Municipal Corporation-owned BEST bus rammed into multiple vehicles on the Western Express Highway near Pushpa Park in Malad East on Thursday morning, with no injury reported while triggering a massive traffic snarl during peak hours, officials said.

The incident occurred around 6:50 AM, when a BEST bus operating on Route 440 and attached to Wadala Depot was returning to the depot after completing its scheduled trip, they said.

According to reports, a car, reportedly an Ola cab, was extensively crushed from its front and side portions due to the impact.

Several other vehicles were also believed to be involved in the collision, police said.
