Bengaluru, Oct. 3 -- Bengaluru will host the second Asian Masters Swimming Championships from October 4 to 10, with more than 1,500 participants from nine Asian countries expected to take part in the continental competition.

The seven-day championship will be held at the Padukone Dravid Centre for Excellence and will see participation from India, Sri Lanka, Iran, Thailand, Japan, China, Oman, Malaysia and South Korea.

The event is being hosted by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) under the aegis of Asia Aquatics, with the Karnataka Swimming Association (KSA) as the local organising partner.

The championship returns a decade after its inaugural edition was held in Japan in 2016.
